Well, I’m not really a person who knows the difference between a “video” or a “graphics” card. If you ask me they are the same thing. Ok, so, I have 2 monitors now and I am dual monitoring it up with 2 17″ CRT Monitors with 2 seperate video cards. A PCI and a AGP video card. I want to convert to just one PCI Card and get a better monitor. As one of the monitors isn’t the best anyways. I suppose I could live with an AGP video card as well, but I have yet to find one with 2 VGA ports for my monitors. Al I am finding is PCI 2 Express (PCI-e) or If I do find a regular PCI it has DVI ports. So it’s quite the dilemma. I’ve been looking at some websites from near by computer stores but they don’t really have what I want either. And TigerDirect.com isn’t much a help either. But I will swamp through this and eventually find a new video card and I will definitely do a review on it.

Oh, by the way, the 2 monitors: my main one is a ViewSonic 17PS and the crappy one is a really old IBM G70. Hopefully I can find another ViewSonic 17PS. That would be superb!

And for the cards: the ViewSonic is on a Rage Fury Pro/Xpert 2000 and the IBM G70 is on a 3dfx Voodoo3

Well firstly, “Tyreus Hosting Network” is what we’re calling Tyreus now. That’s a new one on me.

Secondly, There is a new ToS for Tyreus. Laos M, of the legal staff whipped it up in about 2 or less days. I was quite amazed whne he sent it to me. I was expecting our old ToS but with a lot stricter rules and more examples of whats wrong and what’s right etcetera. It’s quite an amazing peice of work. I’ve only read it once and haven’t found any mistakes so far. But I am sure there are a few at least, as well all know, no one is perfect.

We also have a new IRC robot in the IRC channel, she is still named Samcal, but just a totally new script all together, she is a NoxBot PHP bot. It is a great script, and the owner of the script is usually in our channel as well. So that makes it even greater.The owner of the script says that after 2 years of the bot being out to the public I am the only other one, besides himself, that uses it. At least, that’s what I think he said.

Also, as of January 1st the Tyreus Hosting Network only hosts about 20 or so accounts, a LOT of account got suspended at the end of December. And a LOT of accounts still need to be terminated. Because THT only suspendeds accounts, it doesn’t terminate them yet. Which would be a pretty cool plugin if you ask me.

Now you can go and say that I’m not the best business person in the world, And I wouldn’t care, after all I am only 16. I’ve been around the business for 3 years, welcome to the new century! And it’s not like I own a web hosting website or anything…

Anyways.. I own Tyreus.com, I’m sure not many of you here at Geeks have heard of it but It’s becoming quite popular, now I’m not trying to advertise so I’ll skip the details of my server and everything. What I am getting annoyed with is people who I take in as a staff member to help other people on my website, and then decide that they have learned enough from me to start their own web host and go off and do it. I’ll tell you that I don’t spend a dime for anything I have. My reseller account is from a company at which I helped staff at for over a year and then I opened up this little business. And now people try to learn everything they can and go start their own, and after a hours of their “resignation email” they show up on my forum and (1) Post a link to their very crappily designed website in hopes to get a few users. (2) Steal my users (3) It’s a sub-domain, 0lx.net, or whatever company that is. And then after a week or up to a month or even longer they’ll come back to my forum, or email and ask me if they can have their job back. “NO!” Is exactly what I tell them. I told them before that it wouldn’t be easy. Some of these guys do have money and spend hundreds of dollars on a server. What are you thinking!? Start out strictly free and move up towards paid, NEVER get your own server until after at least a year of being around. Tyreus.com has been around about 9 months, and I don’t plan on getting it it’s own server for another year and a half, if it lasts that long. Which it will, because I’m so awesome.

You can think what you want, about however many oxymorons or contradictions I just made to myself. I said what I said.
